Ceri, violoncelliste de 84 ans, a perdu son mari d’un cancer et sa faculté de jouer suite à un accident vasculaire cérébral. Il vit dans la solitude, la monotonie, à l’exception des visites régulières des auxiliaires de vie, et la présence de son I-Pad. Via l’application Grindr, il invite un jeune escort à lui rendre visite, ce qui a des conséquences inattendues.

84 year old cellist Ceri has lost his husband to cancer and his ability to play to a stroke. His dull life is spent in solitude, save for the interruptions of agency carers and his i-Pad. With Grindr he invites a rent-boy to visit with unexpected results.


Peter Darney, who trained at the RWCMD, is a Welsh queer writer and director for film and theater. Peter’s play, 5 Guys Chillin‘, was named one of the “Ten Plays that Shaped the History of Queer Theater” by the Evening Standard. He has written and directed short films, including Cysuro (named Best Welsh Short at the Wales International Film Festival) and, as screenwriter, Rose Pandemic, which stars Patricia Hodge.
